Stephen James Chidwick, born on May 10, 1989, is an accomplished English professional poker player from Deal, Kent. Throughout his career, he has achieved remarkable successes and held the top position in the Global Poker Index (GPI) from April 18 to October 9, 2018.

Chidwick’s Poker Career

Chidwick’s first major success came at the 2008 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, where he won a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em event, earning $88,760. He is also known for his online play under the aliases “stevie444” and “TylersDad64” on various poker platforms.

In 2009, he finished as the runner-up in the Full Tilt FTOPS Event #17, winning $142,155.30. Chidwick first cashed at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in 2010, where he cashed in three $1,500 No Limit Hold’em events.

In 2011, he recorded an impressive fourth-place finish in the $10,000 Pot Limit Hold’em Championship at the WSOP, earning $198,927. The following year, he finished sixth in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, winning $253,497.
